It’s been a rollercoaster of a week with the news of global import tariffs. 

For us and other small business owners, this has left us reeling. Currently we manufacture the majority of our products in China, which now face an additional 145% import tariff. To put it in simple terms, these new tariffs would cost us an additional $82 on every order. This will be devastating to our business.

So what are we doing?

Right now we are taking things day by day. Working with our factory partners to look for solutions, looking at factories in other countries, including the US, and weighing our options with incoming orders. We will do everything we can to ensure that raising our prices is our last resort. 

We are proud of the high quality of our products and the transparency and sustainability of our supply chain. We are proud to be climate neutral. These are things we don’t want to compromise.
